‘Good Enough For Me’ is a new batch of songs -
not necessarily country, but definitely country-
influenced.
I guess because it seems to me that country
music is a place where they still take songs
seriously and have some fun doing it.
Plus they have pedal steel guitars.
Three incredible steel players - BJ Cole, Jonathan Shacklock and Joe Harvey-Whyte - brought these tracks to life with their musicianship and imagination.
The electric guitars were played by Adam Phillips, Laurence Whiteley and Colin Minchin, and the drummer on track 7 was Nick Rye. All these guys are astonishing musicians and personal friends.
As is Rebecca Thorn, who sang on every track and made the biggest contribution of all.
